Why Me?

I've been​​ where you are. I exercised my whole life all while not ever  feeling thin enough. I was programmed to dieting at a young age, keeping me on the exhausting, endless diet cycle. I experienced the natural evolution of a woman’s changing body, all while living with community pressures of beauty, perfection and thinness above all.  

Through my journey of developing a stronger inner-self, I began to see diet culture from a toxic, negative angle, and learned how to break free from this harmful (often hard to notice) thinking to living  in a body I love with a life I love, and  feeling  great!  

I was so determined to teach a freeing, healing, and healthy realtionship with food and body that I stopped teaching traditional fitness classes (that were highly successful) and poured my whole being into inspiring and educacting with a self-love method. I began teaching in my community high schools, volunteering, posting on Instagram, and then went on to write a course, a book and now this comprehensive, interactive, online program that weaves all my teaching in one happy place.

I finally arrived at this centered, self-loving and positive place in my life that took years of digging deep and searching for answers to why was I binge eating?? Why am I confused about food and health even though I have an education as a health and fitness coach! How do I learn the confidence to show up in my life with a deep passionate purpose? I know for sure, from my own journey and students from my  courses, classes and clients, most people need an easy accessible program to fit into their busy lives to learn in a supportive, inspiring  environment. I created and designed my signature program to help you break free from your food, body and mindset challenges to help you live a life you love, in a body you love and feel great -every day!

Hi!  I am Sari Dana, and I'm on a journey of healing that dives deep into the world of body positivity, intuitive eating, and empowerment. My personal experiences have revealed something extraordinary – this life changing, freeing, confident process is within reach and it's something I am dedicated to teaching others. For the past three decades, I've poured my heart into educating our community on the pillars of health, fitness, happiness, and overall wellness within classrooms, events, private clients and group courses. 

As the author of the inspiring book, Body Positive - The Journey and the creator of the enlightening and supportive membership program  Body Positive- The Journey , zenSari's Live Online Community, my commitment to holistic well-being of mind, body and spirit is unwavering. I currently conduct a weekly Brain Health class at Flatbush High School about the extraordinary power of our thoughts leading to calm, less stressed and positive students. In addition I teach series of Body Positivity in the SAFE classroom for the The Mindful Eating Project in our community schools, thriving support groups, event leader and energtic transforamtive intenSati classes. As a trail blazing Body Positive leader, I'm not just on a mission—I'm on a true wellness revolution that threads a healthy food relationship, positive body image and an empowered self.
